What is The Dreamery?
Think of The Dreamery as a short holiday from reality! It’s an immersive, sensory experience featuring 7 rooms and 9 unique spaces crafted to spark awe and wonder.
- Step into a room where you are up among the clouds, touching the wall changes the weather around you.
- Interact with a digital waterfall that reacts to your touch.
- Explore a cozy, winter-themed room completely covered in thick, ice-blue fur and giant fur balls.
It is a wonderful, magical experience designed for all ages.
Is it suitable for children?
Absolutely! The Dreamery was designed to spark joy in everyone. From toddlers to grandparents, guests aged 0 to 100 all find something to love here.
How long does the experience take?
Most visitors spend between 30 to 40 minutes exploring. Some move through a bit faster, while others like to stay and linger in the magic. There is no strict time limit, so you can take your time!
Can I take photos and videos?
Yes, please do! Capturing photos and videos is highly encouraged. The unique lighting and interactive elements make for some incredible, one-of-a-kind shots. Don’t forget to tag us!

How much does it cost?
Our standard entry pricing is:
- Adults: $39
- Children (Ages 5–15): $29
- Pre-Schoolers: (Ages 1–4) $11
- Infants: (Ages 0–1) free
- Family Pass (2 Adults + 2 Children): $119
Do you offer group discounts?

Do I need to book in advance?
Booking online is highly encouraged to secure your preferred time, but it’s not essential. Walk-ins are welcome, and most of the time you can drop right in. However, we do get fully booked during the busy summer and winter peak seasons, so booking ahead is recommended then!
Location & Logistics
Where are you located?
You can find us right in the heart of town at 24 Camp Street, Queenstown (directly opposite the Village Green). Look for our entrance and head up the stairs!
Is there parking available? While we don’t have dedicated on-site parking, there is paid street parking nearby on Camp Street, Shotover Street, and at the Man Street Car Park just a short walk away.
Can I wear shoes inside?
The Dreamery is a shoes-off experience to protect the exhibits and ensure the best sensory experience Socks are required. If you forget yours, don’t worry—cozy socks can be purchased at reception for $6.
Is The Dreamery accessible for all guests?
Because our venue is located up a flight of stairs, we unfortunately do not have wheelchair access. Additionally, some of our rooms feature flashing lights and dynamic visual effects. If you are sensitive to flashing lights or have mobility concerns, please chat with our team before entry so we can ensure your safety and comfort.
Parties & Private Events
Can I book a birthday party?
Yes! The Dreamery makes for an unforgettable birthday venue. Because some of our interactive exhibits require a little extra care, we require a minimum ratio of 1 adult for every 5 children.
Please note: We do not allow outside food or drink inside the exhibit spaces, but we are surrounded by fantastic local spots for pizza and birthday cake right afterward. We’re happy to give you our top recommendations!
Do you host corporate or private events?
We do! The interactive, playful nature of The Dreamery is a fantastic icebreaker and conversation starter for team-building, corporate events, or private functions.
Can we book out the venue exclusively?
Yes, you can hire the entire Dreamery privately for 30-minute, 1-hour, or 2-hour slots or longer. Please give us a call or email us to discuss pricing and availability.
Gift Shop & Gift Cards
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! We offer gift cards for any custom dollar amount, as well as specific Couple, Family, or Group passes. They make the perfect gift and can be redeemed at any time.
What do you sell in your gift shop?
We want the gift shop to be just as fun as the experience itself! We stock a whimsical range of items, including our signature fluffy hats and furry earmuffs available in vibrant red and ice-blue. We also have a range of Tshirts and hoodies featuring our fabulous logo.
